When Pinterest launched their new API for shopping, their new way for retailers and developers to manage their Pinterest merchant accounts, they approached us to create a series of animations to raise awareness for launching a new product.
Pinterest wanted something that would inspire. So how do we go about inspiring the inspirers?
For this project we needed to build on the brand to create something new. Something that could be owned and recognised as API for Shopping. So, we created a series of graphical mechanisms - all relating to the process of managing inventories on the platform. It needed to be impactful, inspiring and created for a motion first usage. And boy, did the team deliver.
The animations were used on social media, press releases, Pinterest websites and translated into multiple languages for a worldwide audience.
